Eva H Burress Memorial Scholarship
Recipient awarded: Amount to be announced.
• Rising Junior or Rising Senior BFA Studio or BS Art Education Major
• 3.0 Overall GPA

Jaroslav & Jarmelia Kabatnik Memorial Scholarship
Recipient awarded: Amount to be announced.
• Rising Junior, Rising Senior, or Entering Freshman BA or BFA Studio Major
• 3.0 Overall GPA, 3.5 GPA in Art Courses
• Recipient must arrange local exhibition of their work at end of year

Peter & Joni Petschauer, Polson Penland Scholarship
Recipient awarded one 2-week summer workshop residency at Penland School.
• Rising Sophomore or Rising Junior in any degree track with concentration(s) and/or prior experience in media offered at Penland.
• Have not previously been a student or assistant at Penland
• 3.0 Overall GPA; 3.4 GPA in Art Courses
• Three prioritized workshop selections indicated (view current Penland catalog)

PSI Scholarship
Recipient awarded free rent and utilities in a one-bedroom apartment at Appalachian South Apartments for one academic year.
• Rising Junior or Rising Senior Art Major (all degree programs)

Recipient awarded: Amount to be announced.
• Rising Junior or Rising Senior Art Major (BA and BFA with a concentration in Sculpture)

Steele-Reese Fund Scholarship to Penland
Recipient awarded: full scholarship for a workshop residency at Penland
• Rising Sophomore or Rising Junior majoring in Art Education
• 3.0 Overall GPA; 3.4 GPA in Art Courses

College of Fine and Applied Arts Scholarships
Recipients awarded: $1000 for one academic year.
• Entering Freshman or Entering Transfer Art Majors (all degree programs)
• 3.25 High School GPA, or in the upper 25% of their graduating class
• 1100 SAT (minimum combined score) and/or demonstrate exceptional talent in the discipline of art

Purveyors of Art & Design Materials Inc. Annual Scholarship
Recipient awarded: Gift certificate for art supplies.

• Currently taking Foundations, Graphic Design, Painting, Drawing, or Printmaking Course(s)

The Art Mart Annual Scholarship
Recipient awarded: $400 tuition credit and $400 gift certificate for art supplies.
• Freshman or Rising Sophomore
• Art Major or intending to major in art

The Cheap Joe's Senior Studio Scholarship
One Recipient EACH semester awarded: $250 gift certificate for art supplies during the semester they are in senior studio.
• Senior enrolled in Senior Studio class in fall or spring semesters

The Randolph A. Johnson Scholarship Endowment for Art
Recipient awarded: Amount to be announced.
• Students who are majoring in art at Appalachian State University

The Cheap Joe's Annual Scholarship
Recipient awarded: $500 tuition credit
• Entering Freshman intending to major in Art or Rising Sophomore.

NOTE: The applicant must meet all of the eligibility requirements for each scholarship they choose to apply for. Scholarship Recipients must be enrolled as full-time students each semester they expect to receive the scholarship. EXCEPTION: Senior Studio students are not expected to be full-time. INCOMPLETE APPLICATION FORMS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
