Art history students to present at spring conferences

Three of our Art History majors have been accepted to present at national and regional conferences this Spring!

Kiersten Staab will present at the national annual College Art Association conference in Chicago on her hi-tech conservation laboratory and art connoisseurship work on reestablishing the artist and provenance of a Renaissance painting in their collection. The project was undertaken in partnership with curators at the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh.

Joel Crothers and Alicia Rosario will present at the Asheville Art Museum's 2020 interdisciplinary symposium on the theme of Diversity in Small/Midsize Museums. Crothers and Rosario will speak about their experiences regarding diversity issues while working at local venues. The symposium is on Saturday, April 4, 2020 from 11:00 am – 4:30 pm.
